In my studio at home I give singing lessons.

I also coach singers in how to combine acting and singing, how to find urgency in your performance, and how to use the impulses of the music as subtext in your acting.

All my life I have been fascinated with the singing voice and have spent a great deal of time in trying to comprehend how to produce a free flowing sound and how to let the voice soar. And I love helping you find and develop your voice – whatever the level you’re at.

I approach singing in a holistic way. Many elements come together in singing, such as ofcourse the workings of the larynx and tongue, the use of sinuses, a relaxed jaw, breathing, a strong and flexible body, and a clear and focussed mindset.

Since every voice is unique, my approach will differ from one person to another. Together we’ll find your authentic voice, and we’ll work on tools to let it sound free, focussed and grounded.

As a guest director, coach and lecturer, I work at the Conservatoire of Amsterdam and Utrecht. At the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague I coach students in their next steps in the professional world.
